Baby Maia
Sweet, little baby Maia with a beautiful face. She was so calm and peaceful….I loved photographing her. I met her mom Becky for her mini-maternity session and had so much fun with her. She is easy going, funny and no conversation is off limits. My kind of person! Baby Maia is their miracle and I am honored that I was able to capture her “newbornness” for them since it goes so quick!
And one from her maternity. Isn’t she beautiful as well?
Baby Connor
This little baby was perfect for our session. Sweet, happy and relaxed….just like his mom and dad! I was lucky to meet Michelle and Kevin when Connor was still safe inside his mom for our maternity session that you can see HERE . They didn’t know if Connor was a boy or a girl which I think makes the whole miracle thing even more fun! I really enjoyed my time with this beautiful family and I hope they enjoy their sneak peek! Congratulations Michelle and Kevin!
Michelle, Kevin and baby ?
I was so happy to meet at the apple orchard for Michelle and Kevin in the early morning. The light was beautiful, Michelle looked amazing and hubby Kevin was especially sweet to carry everything around as we searched for the right spot. I love doing maternity sessions because they are so happy….there is nothing better to celebrate than the miracle of a new life. This little baby is due NOW and I wonder if he/she is being born as I’m writing! I am looking forward to photographing their new child soon!
Baby Will
Sweet Will. This beautiful baby slept almost the entire time I photographed him. When he was awake he would look into his mother or father’s eyes with the most intent stare….like an old soul. Of course they looked back with happy eyes….how could they not. I’m so lucky to do what I do and capture these amazing and fleeting moments. Congratulations Alison and Dave and thank you for allowing me to keep on taking “just one more” shot!
Jill, Jason and Nathan
I photographed Nathan when he was practically brand new which you can see HERE. I was so happy when Jill and Jason asked me to photograph him a few months later, right before they are leaving Boston to move down to Washington, D.C. We decided to have our session in the Public Garden in Boston to sort of say goodbye to the area, and we had the most beautiful weather to photograph in. This family is going through a lot of changes but one thing is remains consistent….their evident love for each other and their growing family. It was so nice to see them again and I wish them well in their new future! I know that their work will occasionally bring them back to Boston and I hope they let me photograph any new exciting changes they may be having in their family! Thank you Jill and Jason!
Kristy
Kristy is a beautiful woman and she and her husband Michael could not have been happier about having the little miracle growing inside her. This little baby is a blessing for many reasons and I don’t think they will ever take their good fortune for granted.
I had so much fun photographing Kristy and the light was amazing. This weird fog was rolling in through the marsh and the sun was still shining from above. It was like she had connections with mother nature and if you knew Kristy, you would believe this may be possible! She is one of those women that can make being pregnant look sexy! Tomorrow I get to photograph their new baby boy but for now here are some images from her maternity session. Can’t wait!
Caroline
Caroline is a stunning pregnant woman. On top of that, she is easy going, funny and so much fun to be around. AND! She used to dance which brought beautiful movement to some of our photos. I, on the other hand have no rhythm whatsoever and I can’t even imagine being able to be as graceful as she was during our session. Oh, and don’t forget the fact that she is about to have a baby just to throw in the balance challenges! She told me that her friends laugh at her and say that she ruins every photograph because she is takes such terrible pictures. I think we proved them wrong! You look completely beautiful Caroline!
Thank you and I can’t wait to meet your little baby!
dancing and look carefully at the bottom right image….she is in the air!

“Belle”
This is an unofficial sneak peek. I just have to say that ahead of time because I have yet to get through all the images from this session but I could not resist posting these of this beautiful girl. Her name is perfect for her….”Belle”. Her ringlets are THE BEST and her sweet face if filled with expression. She is everything a 4-year-old should be and more. I will write more on her “official” sneak peek but here are a few that I have looked at so far and fell in love with.
Joe and Simon. 2 year old cousins!
When Kristen called and asked about a session with her son Joe and his cousin Simon (both just 2-years-old), we both laughed about how crazy busy kids are at this age and we would have to be on our game to keep them interested. Then when they showed up with the most beautiful little guys with such distinctly different looks and interesting little personalities, I couldn’t help but smile. Joe has bright white hair, blue, blue eyes and the most infectious smile and voice. Simon has these deep, soulful brown eyes with an intelligent expression that lets you know he is taking everything in. I brought a chair and balloons, thinking that we could keep them sort of “contained” with these props. Silly me. Within the first five minutes the balloons went bye bye and I think Simon was a little broken-hearted after that. His mom and Joe’s mom and “Mimi” (grandmom) were such troopers while they tried to help me get the kids to stay close and be happy. Thank you to Kristen and her sister and mom and a special thank you to the boys for being so sweet!
